Amira is feminist, Documentary Photographer and Visual Anthropologist, advocates for women’s rights. She travelled to over 48 countries and lived in three continents (Africa, Europe and America). Karaoud travels to explore new cultures, live with other people their way and share their stories. Karaoud current pursuing a degree in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the International Center of Photography. Karaoud is a member of Sociologists for Women in Society and serve as a Treasure assistant for “US Women Caucus at the UN” she also joins annually the CSW meeting in the UN headquarter in NY to lobby for gender equality.
